More Praise for the Ab Coaster

Dr. Glenn Gero is a board-certified medical exercise specialist who has received over 20 nationally recognized certifications in various areas of health and fitness. He holds masters degrees in nutrition, botanical medicine and has completed post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gero purchased an Ab Coaster at a health and fitness trade show, and he sent us the following email about the product. (Dr. Gero's email was not solicited by us, nor did he receive any payment from our company for his opinion.)

Having been involved in health & fitness on a personal & professional level for nearly 50 years, I've seen so many overly hyped abdominal exercisers come and go. The AbCoaster, however, is different. It is the most effective abdominal exerciser I've ever used. It eliminates the strain that most abdominal devices place on the lower back and neck and places the emphasis directly on the entire core, plus it's easy and enjoyable to use.

I use and recommend the AbCoaster with every patient who is interested in looking and feeling good. It is truly the optimal choice in obtaining and maintaining a lean and sculpted midsection.

Regards,
Dr. Glenn Gero

Like thousands of other people around the world, Dr. Gero discovered for himself that the Ab Coaster is truly a breakthrough abdominal exercise product that is revolutionizing core training.

The GOLD STANDARD of Abdominal Exercises

As you probably saw in the TV commercial, the Ab Coaster gives you the same effective workout as if you were performing the difficult Hanging Leg Raise exercise. What's great about the AB COASTER is that you get the SAME GREAT WORKOUT as a Hanging Leg Raise but without the need to have a strong upper body to hang from a bar. The Ab Coaster makes this difficult exercise easy, effective and fun.

According to an article in Men's Health magazine, the Hanging Leg Raise is the Gold Standard of abdominal exercise, but it is very hard to do:

Consider this movement the gold standard for all ab exercises, just as the pullup is for your back. Although most gymnasts have probably never bothered with a crunch, they've been performing variations of the hanging leg raise for decades. It works like this: As you hang from a bar, you curl your hips and knees up to your chest. Sound hard? That's because it is. Proper execution requires strength, endurance, and flexibility (of your abs, back, and hips), and a strong grip. Which is why few men can do even one with perfect form.

The rest of the article discusses ways to help you strengthen your arms, back, shoulders and grip so you can START doing hanging leg raises for your abs! In other words, this exercise is so hard that you need to have tremendous upper body strength just to be able to TRY the exercise for your abs!

But now, there's no need to build strong arms, hands and shoulders BEFORE you can start working on your abs. With the Ab Coaster, you get the same effective abdominal exercise without the strain and pain of the Hanging Leg Raise.

TRAINING YOUR LOWER ABS FIRST

Experts agree that the key to a flat tummy and sexy waistline is to train the lower abs first. Why? Because the lower ab muscles are smaller, weaker and less developed than the upper ab muscles.

If you train the upper ab muscles first, as most people do with crunches or sit-ups, then you will be too tired to train the lower ab muscles adequately. As a result, the upper ab muscles receive most of the training at the expense of the lower ab muscles. And that's why the "pooch" below the belly button is so hard to lose.

Here is a great article from RealWomensFitness.com on why it is crucial to train the lower abs first:
http://realwomensfitness.com/midsection-exercises/4-tips-for-getting-a-flatter-tummy-and-better-abs/

The Ab Coaster is the perfect product for helping you train the lower ab muscles first. The knee carriage glides along the biometrically-designed curved track. When you lift your knees, you engage your lower abs first, which is the key to getting great abs. As you progress through the entire range of motion, you go from using your lower abs to engaging your middle abs, and then your upper abs. The Ab Coaster gives you a complete abdominal workout from the bottom-up, in one single motion.

The Ab Coaster is taking abdominal training in a whole new direction by helping you to train your weaker lower ab muscles first, which experts agree is the key to getting a flat, sexy waistline.
