The GOLD STANDARD of Abdominal Exercises

As you probably saw in the TV commercial, the Ab Coaster gives you the same effective workout as if you were performing the difficult Hanging Leg Raise exercise. What's great about the AB COASTER is that you get the SAME GREAT WORKOUT as a Hanging Leg Raise but without the need to have a strong upper body to hang from a bar. The Ab Coaster makes this difficult exercise easy, effective and fun.

According to an article in Men's Health magazine, the Hanging Leg Raise is the Gold Standard of abdominal exercise, but it is very hard to do:

Consider this movement the gold standard for all ab exercises, just as the pullup is for your back. Although most gymnasts have probably never bothered with a crunch, they've been performing variations of the hanging leg raise for decades. It works like this: As you hang from a bar, you curl your hips and knees up to your chest. Sound hard? That's because it is. Proper execution requires strength, endurance, and flexibility (of your abs, back, and hips), and a strong grip. Which is why few men can do even one with perfect form.

The rest of the article discusses ways to help you strengthen your arms, back, shoulders and grip so you can START doing hanging leg raises for your abs! In other words, this exercise is so hard that you need to have tremendous upper body strength just to be able to TRY the exercise for your abs!

But now, there's no need to build strong arms, hands and shoulders BEFORE you can start working on your abs. With the Ab Coaster, you get the same effective abdominal exercise without the strain and pain of the Hanging Leg Raise.
